skybook eTechlog
skybook eTechlog is a cockpit module which replaces the paper technical log, allowing crew to transmit data to ground in real-time. The user interface, which can be created to suit any aircraft type, allows pilot and or engineer to make quick entries.
Data entries are audited, automatically validated, and when appropriate, transmitted to the ground, thereby facilitating timely and effective action on the part of the maintenance department. This significantly reduces both paperwork and the timeframe in which different departments are able to access information.
It retains a full history of the aircraft's closed, deferred and new defects, including actions and part changes that can be reviewed by crew and engineers. Aircraft hours can be logged to enable forward planning of the aircraft maintenance schedule. Data can also be exported for statistical analysis e.g. commonly occurring faults on the aircraft or across the whole fleet which may assist with management of spares and resources.
skybook eTechlog can integrate fully with the skybook eFB system, or function as a stand-alone product.
