Pre-Flight Briefing

Pre-Flight Briefing is an application designed for airport flight briefing units and handling agent users to deliver integrated, route specific, pre-flight MET/AIS briefings for all aircrew whether for scheduled or GA traffic. Pre-flight information is dynamically generated from an efficient, cost-effective, on-line, national and international database of up-to-the-minute aeronautical and meteorological information.

Information is collected from a wide variety of sources including but not limited to the AFTN, OPMET, GRIB, SADIS, and EADS (or any local state AIS system), providing the most comprehensive pre-flight briefing available today.

Input of destination and flight level produces pre-flight information for an optimum Great Circle route. Alternatively, airport/airline operators or handling agents can build their own ‘routes’ to airports of interest.
