What to expect from Bytron in 2015
By Shane Spencer | 10th December 2014
2014 has been a period of change for Bytron Aviation Systems. We’ve expanded our customer base, significantly grown our team and developed a suite of new aviation software products, setting the wheels in motion for a successful era helping organisations at the forefront of aviation throughout 2015 and beyond.
However, thinking about the short term as New Year is fast approaching, the question begs: what can you, our customers and the aviation industry expect from Bytron in 2015?
If you have been following us closely you’ll have noticed that we have revamped our website with a slick, much simpler design to help our customers navigate through our website and emphasise important information on our aviation software products and services. We’ve since had great feedback on our new website and will be actively pursuing ways we can enhance our existing aviation systems for our clients as well.
We’re re-engineering our flight dispatch software – skybook
Our flagship data management and flight planning software product, skybook, has been in use by various leading outfits in aviation for years, so we are now planning to update the interface with a fresh design and also add some extra functionality to our modules to enhance the service we provide to our customers.
The new features will include:
- Updates to our flight dispatch system to make generating and distributing flight briefing packs more efficient and reliable than ever
- New functionality including an innovative airfield weather tracking module
- Intelligent new ways to distribute crew notices and manage your document library
- More tailored solutions for flight crew and flight ops
- Bespoke integration options to fit with your existing systems
- We will be sure to keep you updated when we have updated the skybook system. The software is web-based so all existing and any new sign ups in the meantime will automatically receive the update when it is completed

We will be promoting our other aviation software solutions...
Our sister company Keyzo IT Solution has developed a suite of HR and Health and Safety software products which can also be used throughout airports, airlines and ground handling operations to maximise efficiency, compliance and the effectiveness of day to day operations.
Read&Sign is an optimisation solution designed to improve the effectiveness of communications by simplifying the distribution and acknowledgement of important notices, procedures and document updates. Currently in use at Humberside International Airport, Read&Sign allows organisations to quantify the success of their communications, to maximise efficiency throughout their operations.
