Bytron Aviation Systems (“the Company”) are committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your privacy.

This Privacy Notice aims to inform you of our practices on the collection, storage and processing of personal data. By visiting www.keyzo.co.uk or www.bytron.aero (“our websites”) you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.

For the purpose of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the Data Controller is Bytron Aviation Systems, Concorde House, Kirmington, DN39 6YP, UK. Website Enquiries:

By completing the ‘Contact Us’ form or ‘Request a Demo’ form on our websites or by corresponding with us by telephone, e-mail or otherwise in relation to services and products that we may provide, we will record and process your information via our internal sales and marketing database so that we can provide the best service for you. We will never disclose your personal information to any third parties without your consent.

Website Analytics:

With regards to each of your visits to our website we will automatically collect the following information:

  • technical information, including the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;
  • information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time); services you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page. If you are visiting our website via a named network it may be possible for us to identify the name of the company/business/headquarters that you’re IP address is registered to. For this service, we use third party services (Google Analytics and who is visiting).

Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our website and also allows us to improve our websites.

What is a Cookie?

Retention Periods:

The information collected via Google Analytics and Who Is Visiting may be retained permanently. Data collected as a result of you completing our online enquiry form or contact us form will be retained for one year, unless your enquiry converts into a live contract for our products and services, in which case the retention period will be six years post termination of contract.

Your Rights:

You have the right to request that we do not process your personal data. By choosing to continue accessing our website(s), you are accepting the terms within this Privacy Notice.

The Company is committed to meeting the highest standards when collecting, storing and processing personal information. For this reason, we take any complaints we receive about data protection seriously. We encourage people to bring any concerns to our attention if they think that our collection or use of information is in any way unfair, incorrect or inappropriate. We also welcome suggestions for improving our procedures.

This privacy notice does not provide exhaustive detail of all aspects of the companys collection and use of personal information. However, we are happy to provide any additional information or explanation if needed. Any requests for this should be directed to our DPO.

Accessing Your Personal Information:

Bytron Aviation Systems aims to be fully transparent. Individuals are welcome to make a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) under the GDPR.

To make a request to us for any personal information we may hold about you, we require you to put the request in writing addressing it to our DPO. We will respond to all data access requests without delay and at the latest within one month of receipt of the request. It may be necessary for us to extend this period by up to a further two months if we experience high volumes of Data Access Requests in the same period although we will always aim to inform you of this at the earliest opportunity. We are required to use reasonable means to verify the identity of any individual making subject access requests.

If we do hold any personally identifiable information about you we will:

  • give you a description of it;
  • tell you why we are holding it;
  • tell you who it could be disclosed to; and
  • let you have a copy of the information in an intelligible form if you require it.
  • If we do hold information about you, you can ask us to correct any mistakes by, once again, contacting our Data Protection Officer.

    Disclosure of Personal Data:

    We will not disclose personal data outside of the company without your consent unless we are legally required to.

    Links to other websites:

    This Privacy Notice does not cover any links to other websites that may feature within our company websites. We strongly encourage you to read the privacy statements detailed on all websites you visit.

    Applying for one of our vacancies:

    We are committed to maintaining the security of your personal information and to being compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By applying for one of our vacancies, you are consenting to us collecting, storing and processing your personal information for the sole purpose of assessing your suitability for the role.

    Unsuccessful candidates will have their data stored on our electronic systems for a period of 6 months following the application being received after which, any personally identifiable data will be deleted.

    We aim to keep our privacy notice up to date and in line with current Data Protection Laws. This privacy notice was last updated on 22nd August 2022.
