The Basic Operating Weight (BOW) is automatically taken from the W&B configuration. skybook calculates the weights for Zero Fuel Weight (ZFW), Takeoff Weight (TOW), Landing Weight (LDW) based on the input data.
These are accurately plotted onto the aircraft's Weight & Balance CG envelope to ensure it remains within safe operating limits.
Once the CG is within the correct limits, pilots can access a simplified digital loadsheet. This allows them to sign and send the W&B loadsheet to the ground team using a secure signature approval.
Allowing crew to share the same weight & balance data between EFB devices if required, using enhanced syncing connectivity to ensure a smooth transfer.
The weight & balance configuration is setup on the Ground Portal by the operator, using information from the W&B manual for each aircraft.
