Lauren has been with the company for over 8 years now and is currently our Corporate Services Team Leader within the Corporate Service Team. We sat down with Lauren for a brief interview so you could get an insight into Lauren and her role within the company.

 

What is your job role?

“As Corporate Services Team Leader my main duties lie within administration and finance. My job role includes day to day admin tasks as well as updating financial records, processing invoices, payroll and supporting other members of the team to ensure the department runs smoothly.”

 

What is your favourite thing about your role?

“I enjoy having a variety of tasks and responsibilities to keep me busy and focused. I also value the flexibility the job offers; including flexible hours and the option to work both from home and the office.”

 

How have you progressed within your career?

“Since starting with Keyzo I have progressed from Administration Assistant to a Corporate Services Team Leader and achieved both my level 2 and level 3 AAT qualifications. I believe that a clear progression path is a great way to keep employees motivated and engaged.”

 

What advice would you give to someone starting out in your area of the business?

“Being organised, focused and able to prioritise your workload is key. Always be pro-active and on hand for anything your team needs. As you continue to grow within your career, seek out new opportunities and professional development wherever possible”

 

What have you recently accomplished personally that you are proud of?

“My partner and I recently decided to buy a house which needed a complete renovation, I am proud of how much we have managed to do ourselves and can't wait until it starts to take shape and feel like home! I am really enjoying having the opportunity to re-design the entire house and make it our own.”

 

What is your favourite season and why?

“Summer is my favourite season as the days last longer and the weather is warmer. Everyone's spirits are higher as there is always plenty going on, with holidays to look forward to and more time is spent with family and friends!”
