The subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, commonly known as Scoot is a low-cost airline, flying to approximately 60 destinations with a fleet size of around 61. Scoot’s brand image is certainly eye-catching, fun and full of personality.
The team at Scoot Airlines have recently selected our flight planning and dispatch software to support in their flight operations department, in a deal with our partners over at Boeing Jeppesen.
Scoot will be improving their dispatch process by utilizing the flight dispatch software, known as FliteBrief to Jeppesen customers. They will be combining that with Jeppesen’s own EFB management app called Aviator.
Our class leading dispatch system integrates seamlessly with Jeppesen’s EFB, providing everything a dispatcher, flight follower or flight operations officer at Scoot Airline needs to efficiently provide ground support and situational awareness to the flight crew.
For further operational efficiencies and to increase global awareness of flights, Scoot like many of our airline customers often look to implement some of the other impressive add-on modules that Bytron and Jeppesen provide.
Fully featured modules such as the recently updated flight tracking for following specific aircraft positioning data. Or the reliable weather and notam airfield monitoring system. Both, and more can be accessed by a click of a button, all within FliteBrief (or skybook).
By making use of these extra modules, airlines and commercial aviation can save time with many features being available within the one system.
This also reduces costs by eradicating the need to have numerous software subscriptions for different flight dispatch tasks.
“It is fantastic to see Scoot and airlines of all types and sizes choosing to integrate our system into their dispatch and flight operations process. It has always been our vision to provide an ultra-reliable, class leading system to commercial airlines and aviation companies across the world. And the fact that Jeppesen highly trust and promote our aviation software, is testament to the great work our brilliant team deliver.”
