Share device image gallery

You can now share images from your device's image gallery, or a third-party application, directly with the skybook EFB. You can choose where they will be saved in the skybook EFB's gallery and can upload multiple images at a time.

Select the image(s) that you want to upload in your device's image gallery and then use the default share functionality to select skybook as the application to share them with. A pop-up message will appear in the skybook EFB telling you that an image has been shared.

Note: You must be in an active sector to be able to upload images to the skybook EFB. You will receive an error message if you try to upload without a sector being active.

Tap on the blue arrow to see the dropdown menu and select the module or section where the image(s) should be saved.

Once you tap Save, you will then be able to view the image(s) in the skybook EFB by tapping on the Gallery button. You can edit, delete and email the images as usual.

Allow multiple images to be taken at once

It is now possible to take multiple photos from within the skybook EFB wherever the the Camera button is present within a module. This is the same functionality as the Camera button at the top right of the screen.

Missing Pre-flight mandatory fields flagged in Post-flight

A message is now displayed in the Post-Flight Sign off module if Pre-Flight Sign off has not been completed.

When you navigate to the Pre-Flight Sign off module, you will see a list of any missing mandatory information.

Alternatively, if all of the mandatory information has been completed but the section has not been signed off, you will see the green Sign Pre-Flight button at the top of the screen.

Once the Pre-Flight section has been signed off, the message in Post-Flight Sign off lists any mandatory information missing from the In-Flight and Post-Flight modules.

Allow .txt files in library module

It is now possible to upload text files, with a .txt file extension, as well as PDFs to the Document library module of the skybook EFB.

AFOB field in Off Blocks module

To accommodate different workflows, it is now possible to view the AFOB (Actual Fuel On Board) field in the Off-Blocks module of the skybook EFB instead of the Take-Off Performance information.

In order to see this field in the In-Flight section of the skybook EFB, it must be enabled in the In-Flight Off-Blocks section of the skybook App screen on the Default Settings tab of the Settings module in the skybook Ground Portal.

Take-Off Performance in Pre-Flight section

To accommodate different workflows, it is now possible to view the Take-Off Performance fields in the Pre-Flight section of the skybook EFB instead of the In-Flight section.

In order to see these fields in the Pre-Flight section of the skybook EFB, the Take-Off Performance module must be enabled in the Pre-Flight section of the skybook App screen on the Default Settings tab of the Settings module in the skybook Ground Portal.

OFP notifications

Users now receive a notification when a new OFP has been uploaded for a flight. Tapping Yes will result in the sector being updated without the user having to manually update it.

If required the No button can be removed via an operator setting. Please contact your skybook account representative for further information.

Sector attachment notifications

Notification of a new sector attachment has been improved for clarity now including: Flight Number, Departure and Arrival ICAO, Time and Date, from the flight data, and the file name of the attachment.
