skybook 2025 Year in Review

As 2025 comes to a close, we are proud to reflect on a year of innovation and enhancements across our skybook EFB application & Ground Portal platform.

Our mission remains to empower flight crews and ground staff with tools that enhance safety, efficiency and clarity.

This year, we introduced hundreds of updates, here’s a few highlights…

EFB Application 2025 updates:

Mandatory fields prompts before sign-off
To reduce errors and ensure compliance, the EFB application now prompts users to complete all mandatory fields before allowing sign-off. This ensures critical data such as fuel information is never overlooked.

Offline sign-off
Flight crews can now complete pre-flight and post-flight sign-offs even without WiFi connectivity, allowing operations to continue seamlessly in those more remotely positioned airports or low-signal areas.

Smart NOTAM management
The skybook EFB intelligently highlights relevant NOTAMs and reduces information overload, helping pilots focus on the notices that matter most for flight safety. By combining intuitive filtering and prioritisation, smart NOTAMs help pilots and dispatch teams quickly identify what matters most.

Nav log TOC & TOD reorder

The navigation log now automatically reorders the Top of Climb (TOC) and Top of Descent (TOD) entries, saving time allowing pilots to quickly jump to the relevant section and reducing manual input errors.

Custom crew members
Users can now add custom crew members, enabling more accurate roster management especially for those ad-hoc circumstances, whilst improving flight documentation and compliance.

Device sync status
Real-time device sync status keeps flight crews informed on the connectivity and synchronisation update state of their EFB devices. This ensures data consistency, and clear visual feedback that shows exactly what stage the sync is at.

Ground Portal 2025 updates:

Multiple sets of minima for airfields
Operators can now define and manage multiple minima configurations per airfield, increasing flexibility and accuracy of weather limits, and ensuring compliance with diverse operational requirements.

Edit sector data in the Record Vault
Ground staff admin users can now edit sector data in the Record Vault, allowing more control over flight data and making corrections to times and fuel data, without disrupting overall records.

Voyage report auto distribution to email
Voyage reports are automatically sent via email in PDF format to specific teams or users, improving reporting efficiency and reducing manual workload.

Journey log report updates
Enhanced journey log reporting delivers more detailed and actionable insights for flight operations teams.

Return to ramp & return from airborne
Ground teams can easily manage flights that return to the ramp or re-enter airborne status, providing more accurate operational visibility when unexpected issues happen, keeping turnaround disruptions to a minimum.return from airborne

Leon integration
Seamless integration with Leon Software streamlines crew and roster data synchronisation, improving operational efficiency and accuracy. Ensuring dispatchers and flight crews have the most accurate and up-to-date operational data.
